The star of the show. The thing that everyone is talking about. The new phone that completely overshadowed the iPhone 8. Its the cryptically named… iPhone X. What does the ‘X’ stand for? Xylophone? X-ray? Is it the iPhone Xenomorph?!… Perhaps its the Xtra, because thats what it brings; more features, more power, more style… if you can afford the price tag.
Lets dive in and find out what the X has to deliver!
Our vision has always been to create an iPhone that is entirely screen. One so immersive the device itself disappears into the experience. And so intelligent it can respond to a tap, your voice, and even a glance. With iPhone X, that vision is now a reality. Say hello to the future. – Apple.com
- Pre-order: 10.27.17
- Release: 11.3.17

The X has the most durable glass ever in an iPhone, you shouldn’t be able to crack the screen this time, or that’s what they are claiming. It is also water and dust resistant and contains surgical grade steal. It seems they are attempting to have this iPhone be nice and durable whilst keeping it stylish and sleek. With no home button!
The first OLED screen in an iPhone! The colors really pop and the sharpness is cutting edge. You won’t be squinting to see these beautiful colors because the display has a whopping 5.8 inch Super Retina screen.
Your face is now your password. Apple has moved on from Thumbprint ID and has now moved on to facial recognition. Simply scan your face with the depth of field cameras (more on this later) and gain access to your phone… Lets hope you don’t have an evil identical twin.
These tiny cameras contain sophisticated technology, TrueDepth technology. They can sense how far points are from the iPhone. This is how the FaceID also works, by projecting over 30,000 invisible dots to make a precise depth map of your face.
This isn’t its only use, it also allows for beautiful selfies with sharp foregrounds and artfully blurred backgrounds. Portrait mode will also allow you to take studio quality photos with adjustable precise lighting options.
No charging cables required, designed for the future! Will wireless catch on or will it just be a passing fad? Apple certainly seems to be pushing for it to happen.
- CPU now 70% faster than the A10 fusion.
- Cores are 25% faster
- Batters lasts 2 hours longer than iPhone 7
- 12 megapixel camera & sensor.
Last but not least animojis! Scan your face and have an animal (Panda, cat, alien, horse, poop emoji & more!) act out everything you do! Send these live emojis to your friends and make them jealous… or irritated!
